In this film, the corners of the mouth are always slightly raised, and Audrey Tatu with a little elf temperament perfectly interprets the role of Emily.
French director Jean Pierre Genet creates a dreamy and sweet film world with his good fantasy style. Each frame seems to be a romantic postcard with a strong French flavor.

剧情简介：

This movie is about a young woman named Amelie who has been shielded from the world by her neurotic parents because they mistakenly believe she has a heart condition. Amelie suffers from some of the same neurotic genes that her parents possessed. After her mother's death Amelie's father fears that she will never be able to go out on her own. She does however go out on her own, and works as a waitress in a*** all restaurant/bar called "The Two Windmills". Amelie is an unusual character and quickly realizes she is not satisfied with life. After hearing of the death of Lady Diana Amelie makes a change and decides to help people. Eventually her quest to find the meaning of life lands her in love. I'm not giving away details here because those are the whole reason for watching the movie, its beauty is in its details.

I have seen this movie twice now and I absolutely love it. It is just a movie that has never been done before, and that is very refreshing. The entire cast does an incredible job, and I want to rent all of the movies they have been in. Even though this movie is in French and you need sub titles, you will fall in love with it. You'd have to be insane not to.
